Hello super stainless steel water bottle, I've been searching for you!

So, thanks to the Hostess with the Mostess's recent blog entry I have finally found the exact water bottle's I've been looking for! Stainless Steel BPA Free and they've even got them in sizes up to 32 ounces!!!! Further Bonus: this shop that sells these Water Bottles is FABULOUS!!!! Check it out Kir De Vries!

In other news, we've had some personal upsets, triumphs (Y is walking!) and also sheer creative laziness that I'll attribute my absence from the blogging scene to. But I'm finally feeling the "New Year Resolution" bug to better myself (a month late, but oh well), and more regular and more interesting blogging fits somewhere on that list :)
Other items of interest on my February (and thereafter) Resolution list:

  • *Overhaul, revamp, and perform a mini-extreme makeover on my etsy shop. I'm thinking a name change, at least 1 or 2 new items every week, better photography! The works!
  • *Begin teaching my daughter Piano, not sure if this is even possible, but I'm gonna give it a go!
  • *Establish a date night with my husband.
  • *Lose that darn weight! Cliche' as it may be, this really is a must! I had a minor affair with Weight Watchers and a Bob Harper Bootcamp DVD a couple of weeks ago and dropped 8 lbs. in a week. . . However, I shortly after discovered a ridiculously good Curry Restaurant and Superbowl treats and may have counteracted all my efforts. Time to climb back on the wagon! (You'd think lugging a 18 lb. kid around all day would count for something!!!)
  • *Write Write Write! I've been contemplating what I really truly ever wanted to do with my life. It has recently dawned on me that I really could do the things I want to do if I'd just make the effort. Becoming a writer was my first genuine career ambition as a child. Of course, I really do love working with the kids as a substitute teacher but I think I find myself flirting with the dream of becoming a writer once again.
  • *Carefully tackle intimidating knitting and crocheting patterns! I've already begun this endeavor and it's a blast! I am the type of person that loves to knit/crochet but has a really hard time buckling down with a pattern. Most of the stuff I make is really just a self-developed interpretation of something I saw once, which often results in awkward
    shaping and the such.
  • *Read the whole Bible
  • *Take my daughter and my dogs on a walk every day the weather permits it!
  • *Become that person that remembers every one's birthday with at least a card! This is soooo not me but I want it to be!
  • *Take some classes. At the moment I'm thinking some sort of language, some sort of art, some sort of cooking, and belly dancing :)
  • *Organize my garage (this may take all year)
  • *Find one of my husbands' hobbies I could genuinely be interested in and develop it (this is hard folks, he's an action figure/computer game/sci-fi book nerd)
  • *WATCH LESS TV
  • *Successfully develop a prolific and delicious home garden! (I'm Soooooo excited about this one!!!)
What are some of yours??

thanks so much for the water bottle site. those are so cute. good luck with all your goals! i could never make that many and actually get them done. i do 1 or 2 a year. this year my goal is to run bloomsday. and i already thought of next years: always put the new toilet paper roll on the little holder thing. i am so bad at this. i really need the rest of this year to just psych myself up for it. lol.

Loving those aluminum bottles. I hear you on the being married to a gaming/sci-fi nerd! We really have nothing in common...makes me wonder how we got together. It must have been pure physical attraction, lol. I tried to read through the Bible las year. Made it to Jeremiah...so that one is a continued resolution. My resolution is to follow more of my creative instincts and just produce more art/crafts. T.V gets in the way...so I can relate to most of your list. We really are Martha-wannabes! ie. did you see my tea party pics?
