Too broke and friendless to throw an Oscar Party

But REALLY wishing I wasn't. Anyways, if you haven't hopped over to Hostess With The Mostess lately, you might check out her links for a glam fab Old Hollywood Oscar Party. I may not have mentioned this but I ADORE Old Hollywood Glamour, I have big ambitions for a glamorous master bedroom makeover in the style (but I'll save that for a later post). Anyways, if you are throwing an Oscar Party, then I am jealous of you. I'll be at home probably eating a cold sandwich and crossing my fingers for Slumdog Millionaire to sweep the board :) Not a bad night, just one lacking in feather boas, swanky drinks and formal attire :) As a sidenote, if you have yet to see Slumdog Millionaire you should probably do that this weekend :) hahaha DO IT! It was probably the best movie I've ever seen. It is shocking, heartwarming, moving, and artistic all in one (you'll notice the leading lady is always wearing canary yellow, I LOVE that the director did that, it reminds me that movies are art as well as stories!) This final scene and credits sealed the deal for me, I love that they threw in a Bollywood dance scene, it's so true to the genre and was quite unexpected :) I could basically gush over this movie all day long.
