Ni-Hao Mural
Designing Y's big girl room has been slow as there is no real "deadline." However, I've been staring at this one last naked wall for too long (the other walls are an adorable pink which I'll share later when everything is complete!). I tackled this wall yesterday whilst she was sleeping with her daddy :). I used 2 qts. of tintable chalkboard paint for the bottom dark green part. I can't wait to show her that she can draw on it, as she is quite fond of drawing on walls and appliances and floors . . . etc. It takes 3 days to cure, so for now she is oblivious! The sky is 1 qt. of Behr's "Refreshing Pool" and the rest of it is an assortment of Glidden and Behr samples which you can get for only 2.97 a piece! I had done some muraling in her nursery and I just used standard craft paint, but at 2.97 I was able to use the real thing and I think it'll hold up a lot nicer!
I can't wait to show you the rest of the room!

I love it! I wish I could read what you blogged but the white is sorta blending in with your awesome background.
I think it's turned out great so far. She's going to be so excited when she finds out she can draw on it. What a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
