found it! for now

Something I'm pretty passionate about and becoming more successful at, that is: bag making :) This weekend I took my new found knowledge of making small cosmetic bags and graduated it up to a large purse/tote size and I couldn't be more stoked about the result!! They're super easy and pretty quick to make, so I think I really might have finally found my crafting niche (for now), which I've been looking for for ages!
My husband and I are in the process of cleaning out the office/craft room and I've come to realize I dabble in way too many types of creative processes, but am not really fine tuned in any of them. I have all the supplies to: solder, sew, knit, crochet, make jewelry, fabric paint, scrapbook, embroider, toll paint, polymer clay everything, latch hook . . . and the list goes on and on. It's been an unofficial resolution of mine to scale down (I will always love doing a few, but I need to tone it down and actually get good at something!). Sewing would have been my last guess, but my new machine and possibly my new found confidence have made it actually a breeze! Not to mention the fact that I have cupboards full of FABULOUS fabrics that I have bought over the years, with little inspiration as to what they should become. Why not fabulous tote bags?! Diaper bags?! Cosmetic bags?!

Above are my two first tote bags, it pains me to part with them but they are up at Yori Sparrow's Sweetheart Shop now!!!

I know what you mean...I dabble in WAY too many mediums too and it takes space y'all. But I can't really justify scaling down because if I ever use that degree I got and teach art then I'll need to do all of that again.
