Shutterfly Christmas Fabulousness! How are you greeting this season?

Forget Halloween, I've already watched Elf & Love Actually and my ipod Christmas Party playlist has been broken in for the year :) Now, it feels like the weather is following suit and I can't wait to pump things into full Christmas gear!

And so started the great Christmas card hunt. I've made photo books and cards using Shutterfly before, and it's super user friendly and the result is always great so-of course-I had to check out what they have going for Christmas. There is nothing more fabulous for a flaky busy mama like myself than a service that not only makes a beautiful card, but addresses and sends it straight to your recipients for you! I am usually terrible at the follow through of cards (true story: last years cards made it to the enveloped and addressed stage and still didn't get sent out!), but Shutterfly has totally made less of a flake out of me this past year!

The selection of Christmas Cards is so much fun to click through! I had a difficult time narrowing it down, but I think these three might be my favorites (okay, there's 4, I'm indecisive!)

Okay, anyone who knows me knows I that I am a complete sucker for cartoon cutesy or childlike aesthetics. So, give me 3 adorable penguins on a sled and I'm sold! :P

Mostly I'm in love with the simplicity of this one.

I know people have mixed feelings about the "Christmas letter" but I think this card handles the task of letting folks know what you've been doing without the monotony of too much information that can sometimes creep up! Also, the color scheme is just adorable!

And lastly, this just makes me happy! It looks like a holiday dream. Is this the one? It might be.
I wonder how much my two little winter sprites will cooperate with a snowy picture :) While I feel like it might be totally "cheating" to have printed cards like this when I have a pile of stamps and stickers and all that homemade card makings tucked away in my craft closet, I really just don't have the time, and they would never turn out as cute as any of those 4 would :) Here's my compromise with my creative conflict: make an adorable framed wall or mantle art by embellishing one of the cards (whichever I choose!) I like the idea so much it just might become a holiday tradition! Oooh, creativity light bulb: what if you make a little framed, embellished version of your Christmas card each year and string them along a pretty ribbon or garland?! Love it?! It's happening! haha If you haven't yet, you should definitely pop over and browse all the cute cute designs of holiday cards!

p.s. coupon me has to point out that shutterfly has a deal going where you get 25% off your order if you get 50+cards and also orders over $30 ship free with the promo code: SHIP30, just fyi!

I'm so happy there are other Christmas Crazies out there! I have been planning my Christmas card since September and just pulled out some jolly tunes at work! Love all these card options and I totally would go the easier route if I had kids. And I think the embelished card for your family is a super idea. I don't always manage to keep one of mine because I get tired of hand-making them by the time it comes to me. =(

By the way, I usually pull out the decorations and tree the first week of November!
